Sociabilisation

Sociabilisation is very important, especially between birth and 3rd month. It allows the pups to get used to the outside world
and to what composes it. During this period, they will have to be at the farthest in contact with other dogs adult than their mother, adults, old persons and children, as well as if possible the foundation animals (cats, rabbits...).

During the purchase of your pup, be sure that he is not thrown into a panic by you and by noise. Knock in your hands, made by noise (not too extremely either!). Ask if he went out (although the winter it is difficult to take out chiots), if he met cats or adults dogs big or small breeds...
A bit timid pup will not necessity a fearful dog in if you buy it after 3 months. At about 4-5 months they are more timid than in 2 months.
Ask if he always has this behaviour or if he is just a temporary bashfulness owed to foreigners' visit. If after 15-20 min there is no changing, it is preferable to choose an other one. A too predominant puppy is not a good thing too,
if he bites you or please not be supported on the back, it will be necessary to give him a strict education.
It risks being aggressive towards the children or the other animals.

It will be necessary you to take it out the most possible so that he meets others congeneric, bike, stroller, car, train... To take for a walk it in city is very important so that he am not afraid of the world and of noise. Do not hesitate to take it out among the crowd. Learn it to stay alone from the 1st day and to take up to him to what it has or not right to make. Education begins right away. Do not allow the pup of behaviours that you will forbid him later. If your pup is thrown into a panic by something or somebody, do not comfort him, but encourage him. If you take him in your arms, he will risk becoming aggressive towards the dogs or persons because he will feel protected by you.
